CHANPYON LAKAY 2022

Join us in launching our third annual Chanpyon Lakay competition.
This national youth innovation competition highlights the impact of Haiti’s new generation of  leaders – who are bringing change to their communities through impressive social enterprises, community initiatives, and campaigns. Chanpyon Lakay 2022 will accept applications from eligible youth until August 15, 2022 and announce the winners on December 02, 2022.

With an enormous amount of emigration out of Haiti due to recent political and economic insecurity, it has never been more important to highlight the journeys and impact of youth who are investing in their country. The 2021 Chanpyon Lakay competition was a huge success, bringing in over 24,000 local votes. This year we have upgraded the standard and we offer the participants to earn twice the amount that is usually offered in addition to the capacity building support that  will be provided to the 10 finalists.

We are delighted to be supported again by our long-standing partners: the Digicel Foundation and TK Foundation, and are seeking new partners invested in catalyzing the work of impressive leaders who are bringing solutions to Haiti’s biggest challenges, across sectors and around the country.
