Boosting social innovation

In 2021, CLE launched Angaje , a social enterprise incubator designed to help young women and men (ages 18–35) with innovative, socially driven enterprises and initiatives succeed. Angaje represents an innovative evolution, building on the strengths and successes of our previous cohorts — Fanm Angaje, Antreprenè Angaje, and Lidè Kominote Angaje.

These young leaders are at the heart of our 12-month incubation program, which is dedicated to fostering positive change and economic growth. The enhanced Angaje program is more than just a training course, it supports a comprehensive ecosystem designed to nurture and empower Haiti’s next generation of changemakers.

Participants benefit from training focused on values-based and service-driven leadership, as well as essential skills to launch and manage social enterprises .

Personalized Support and Coaching

Young entrepreneurs receive tailored guidance through expert mentorship, peer learning, and business consulting services. This support helps them structure, refine, and grow their initiatives effectively.

Ecosystem Building

ANGAJE promotes continuous data collection, network building, and access to flexible funding to help turn innovative ideas into concrete, sustainable solutions.

3 Years Funding Needs & Expected impact

CLE is mobilizing catalytic capital and targeted technical support to accelerate the growth of women and youth-led social enterprises in Haiti. Through the ANGAJE program and broader ecosystem partnerships, we are creating a powerful model that combines flexible financing with deep capacity building.

Capital Mobilization Goals

• Raise $300,000 in flexible debt financing to fund early-stage and growth-ready enterprises.
• Secure $2.2 million in technical assistance funding to provide training, mentorship, and organizational development.

Impact Targets

• $3.7 million in increased revenue generated by supported enterprises.
• 1,700 sustainable jobs created or maintained across sectors.
• 270 enterprises strengthened and scaled through investment readiness and tailored support.
• 200% return on investment — for every $1 of program costs, ANGAJE enterprises have increased their revenue by an average of $2.
