Supporting the growth of Haitian social enterprises

The acceleration phase of the ANGAJE program is designed to support social entrepreneurs from the CLE network who are already running active social businesses and are looking to strengthen their growth, and to have long-term impact.

This program aims to help young entrepreneurs consolidate their business models, improve their decision-making capacity, and prepare for new growth opportunities.

This initiative is in collaboration with Connecta Caribbean, as part of broader efforts to strengthen entrepreneurial ecosystems across the Caribbean.

About the Acceleration phase

The acceleration phase supports 35 young entrepreneurs from the 5000+ people of CLE network over a four-month period focused on business strengthening and strategic development.

Rather than focusing only on ideas, this phase is specifically designed for entrepreneurs who are seeking to move to the next stage of business development.

What participants will receive

The acceleration phase is designed to provide practical tools, clear direction, and support that helps entrepreneurs move forward with confidence.

Advanced training

Practical learning sessions designed to strengthen key areas of business development, including leadership, financial management, business growth strategy, social impact, and long-term planning.

Personalized mentorship

One-on-one guidance tailored to the specific realities, challenges, and objectives of each entrepreneur and their business, helping them make well-informed decisions.

Growth and strategic support

Support to strengthen positioning, structure priorities, identify opportunities, and improve long-term planning.

Financing preparation

Access to resources and guidance to better understand financing mechanisms, along with access to loans that participants can use to grow and scale their social businesses.

Networking opportunities

Opportunities to connect with entrepreneurs, mentors, partners, and actors within the entrepreneurial ecosystem to encourage collaboration, learning, and relationship building.

Access to ecosystem support

Access to resources, information, and support services within the entrepreneurial ecosystem to help entrepreneurs strengthen and grow their businesses.

35 entrepreneurs from the CLE network will be selected to participate.

FAQs

The acceleration phase is intended for social entrepreneurs who are part of the CLE network and already operate an active business.

The acceleration phase starts on July 1st and runs for a duration of four months.

Entrepreneurs interested in joining the acceleration phase must complete an application form and provide key information about their business and activities. Applications are then reviewed based on the program criteria, the business’s level of development, and the entrepreneur’s motivation and commitment.

The acceleration phase is specifically designed for entrepreneurs with existing businesses looking to strengthen their structure, strategy, and growth capacity.

The acceleration phase lasts four months.

Participants will benefit from advanced training, personalized mentorship, business growth support, networking opportunities, access to ecosystem support, and preparation for financing and credit opportunities.

Participants will need a stable internet connection, a laptop or smartphone, and the availability to dedicate approximately 6 to 8 hours per week to training sessions, mentorship, and program activities.

The program does not directly provide guaranteed financing, but it gives participants access to credit opportunities, along with the tools and support needed to strengthen their readiness for financing processes.

All activities will take place online.

No participation fee is required for selected entrepreneurs but participants are expected to actively engage in the different activities: mentorship sessions, and training opportunities throughout the program.
